I would say it's a miss in my opinion. Mostly because I compare it to Batman:
The Animated Series that came out in the 90's. Now that series was was good.
This one however I see it as a little childish and too episodical. Where as
Batman: The Animated Series was more gritty and had very memorable story lines.
I love the anime from the past. Tenchi Muyo, Iria: Zeiram the Animation, The
Slayers, Armitage, Evangelion, and Sailormoon were some of the first that I saw
when I was a teenager. I remember when the ScFi channel had for one week were
playing some of the anime I had just mentioned back in the late 90's. It is
because of this that I am now hooked on anime. Honestly, I feel that the anime
from the past are alot better then the ones that have come out now and the newer
ones try hard to be like the ones that came out from the past. I know some
people have this attitude about out with the old and in with the new, but it's
because of these old anime that many anime and manga writers got there ideas to
begin with.
In my past life I think I was a soldier in past wars such as the Crusades and
World War 2. Mostly because the dreams I have had and how dtailed they are.
